Dr. Ethan Powell is originally from Southeast Kansas and is a graduate of Frontenac High School. He earned his bachelor’s in biology from Pittsburg State University and his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Dr. Powell’s interest in Optometry began in 2013 when he first job-shadowed at Kannarr Eye Care, and he eventually joined as a full-time employee, working in all aspects of the practice before moving to St. Louis for Optometry School. He enjoys practicing full-scope optometry, with emphasis on ocular disease and contact lenses.
He thoroughly enjoys spending time with his wife, Gracie, who is also from Pittsburg, as well as their three dogs and two cats. They have a combined 19 nieces and nephews and enjoy being able to spend time and support them in their endeavors.
Dr. Powell is very excited to be re-joining Kannarr Eye Care and being able to give back to the community that helped raise him and his wife.
